最近社会刮起了一阵英语风，我那60多了的奶奶想一想，感觉自己落伍了。于是缠着我教她英语。面对一个‘毫无基础’的学生，我为师有一百个不愿意。但我看奶奶那么诚恳，便答应了奶奶。
初次上课，我翻出一堆英语字母卡片，来到客厅。此时奶奶已经搬上小板凳，端端正正地坐着，两只眼睛有神的看着小黑板。我拿出字母“A”，大声念道“A—”，奶奶也专注地念道“哎—”，我一听，笑得前俯后仰，连忙纠正，经过几个来回，奶奶终于会读第一个字母“A”了，她高兴得像个小孩手舞足蹈。之后，经过我九牛二虎之力和孜孜不倦地教导，以及奶奶认真的那股钻劲，折腾几番后，奶奶终于学会了几个基本的字母。而我呢，早已教的筋疲力尽，口干舌燥了，匆匆甩下抄写的作业，就“逃之夭夭”了。
经过三四天，奶奶竟然一口气把英语字母学完了，在我们惊叹之余，也由衷地打心底佩服奶奶那股不可估量的专心劲和惊人的毅力。当然也有我小老师教得好的'份哟`！奶奶也喜笑颜开，对自己学习成就颇有满意。
本想解放几天，可没过几天，奶奶的英语热又来了。这不，直嚷着让我教她英语单词。看着奶奶的信心已决，我又只好再次“上岗”。我从简单的音标开始教起。起初，奶奶对那些鬼画符似的音标记得直跺脚。后来，慢慢的，奶奶发现音标其实很有趣，很好记，便跟着我耐心地学起来。一天，两天，很快，奶奶掌握了元音音标，辅音音标，让我们不禁拍手叫好！
学习完音标，学起单词就轻而易举了。我拿起课本，奶奶看着音标，尝试着拼出了单词。当然不会的部分，奶奶便向我请教。这样细细琢磨，奶奶终于学会了英语！奶奶笑得眼睛眯成一条缝，脸上皱纹舒展开了，人仿佛年轻了好几岁。回想起来，奶奶学英语也不容易，从一遍一遍地听，一遍一遍的读，到费尽心思地记，地写，奶奶流下了不少汗。这也应该是“一分耕耘一分收获”吧！
从此，奶奶时不时用英语与我们对话，家里添了不少欢笑，不少气氛。奶奶也从学英语中悟出了一些道理，她常告诫我：甘卜丹啊，“少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲”呀，现在要趁早好好学习，老了学习起来真的难呀！当然，俗话说得好：“世上无难事，只怕有心人”，成功是留给努力的人的！每当我细细品味这些话语时，总能品味出一些不一样的的道理。这些道理会使我一生受益！

The one i love best is my granny. the one who loves me best is also my granny . she is so kind that everyone who knows her likes her very much. but im sorry to say that my dear granny got cancer.
It was a cold day, but my heart was even colder. i could not accept the fact that my granny got cancer. facts are facts. only an operation could help her. the doctor told us she was too weak to be operated on, but my granny insisted that she could stand it. so the doctors did the operation. after the operation, my granny could not sleep, or eat, or say a word because of the pain .
Every one of my family felt sad. my granny noticed this, so she tried her best to nod and smile to us . we smiled back. every day, my granny said she felt better but actually the pain was still there. once, she said to me, “yangyang, my dear. ill be all right.”my granny was growing thinner and thinner, but she was still smiling. the smile gave us other day , i went to the hospital to see my granny . she said , “spring is coming. though im in hospital, i can feel the warmth. yangyang i think ill go home soon.”
How i hope she would be home soon!

Today the relatives came to look in our family. Auntbrother-in-law“HuaQin ” his wife and his son. How time flies! We all known that there was one year gone. We usually talk about grandma unconsciously. Yeah, it’s history for one year. And the dear grandma had lived for nearly a whole year. But I believed nobody would forget this old lady, thought a year passed. It seems that she was still living around us. When I had seen some programs on TV about the olds or the families ,I usually bring her to my mind. Year , I miss her very much. But I known that what I can do just to miss her. The truth is she will never come back to our live.
The cousin HuaQin asked whether I still remembered that grandma usually call my sister came to pick the guavas on the tree which was full of fruits at downstairs. But now, grandma live away, and the guava tree was chopped down also. All the things went away as the time flied. What leave to us just the nice memory.
Yeah, a year was gone. Grandma leave us almost for a year. I still remember that the days before one year ,I was at the FengHuangLing mountains as a city volunteer for the Beijing Olympic. Nobody known that the bad things on grandma would happen after tow weeks. Nobody told me the bad situation about grandma to me .what I known was grandma was still ok, except not so wonderful. But nobody told me she was bad or suggested me that I must came back to look in her otherwise I could not see her the next time when I came back. They just told me that it’s ok whether I came back or not.
I don’t want to hate everybody or the god. I know what happened is the truth. I can not save anything. what we can do just bless for grandma, and hope that she could rest in the heaven forever. We will miss her forever.
