Through literature analysis, experimental verification and data analysis, a series of conclusions were drawn: 1. Under anaerobic conditions, sulfur elements undergo reduction reactions and are converted into sulfides. This process is affected by various factors such as environmental pH, oxidants, and reductants. This paper studies the variation law of sulfur element reduction rate and sulfide precipitation type under different pH values through pH control experiments. 2. Under iron-rich conditions, sulfur elements also undergo reduction reactions, but the presence of iron-rich accelerates the sulfur element reduction rate, and the produced sulfides have certain stability. This paper studies the influence of iron-rich concentration on sulfur element reduction rate and product stability by adding different concentrations of iron-rich reagents. 3. Under certain conditions, the sulfur element reduction rate under anaerobic soaking conditions is similar to that under iron-rich conditions. However, in actual environments, iron-rich in water is limited, and the sulfur element reduction rate is slower under anaerobic soaking conditions than under iron-rich conditions, and the produced sulfides are less stable. The research results of this paper are of great significance for understanding the environmental chemical behavior of sulfur elements scientifically, exploring the mechanisms of sulfur element production, conversion and removal under anaerobic conditions, the application of iron-rich in water environment, environmental pollution control, etc. 【Key words】Sulfur elements; anaerobic conditions; iron-rich; reduction reaction; sulfide.
