While dancing, singing and talking, the girls worked. One hour later, the room became clean. It was fun! The room looked great. Patti’s mum was happy. She called Meg’s mum and told her everything. Meg’s mum said Patti could come to help Meg.
The girls quickly went to Meg’s house. They worked and played until the room was clean. The girls learned that working together could make cleaning fun and easy!

Mum tried to get her to eat later that evening, but she refused. Patty didn’t eat breakfast the next day either. When lunch came around, she was hungry, but she didn’t eat anything. They didn’t offer her anything special when she didn’t eat. That surprised her.
By the time dinner came around, she could hardly move. She felt very weak. Suddenly, vegetables didn’t look so bad. They didn’t taste so bad either. Patty had many vegetables that night. She went to bed with a full stomach. She still wanted junk food, but she could wait until the weekend.
