In recent years, people's living standards have improved, but their cultural lives e a short board. Discussing the social public art literacy training is to the needs of the development of The Times. With the prosperity and development of China's economy and culture, the art activities in china e increasingly rich, active, wide and diversification. So carrying out the research of the social public art literacy training, improving the public’s spiritual life quality e an appeal of the social development and the progress of The Times. It has long-term practical significance. The article is divided into six parts. Chapter one is introduction, it is mainly to throw light on the reasons and significance about the topic selection, the research situation of this subject, the research methods, the research ideas and the innovation point of this research; Chapter two is to clear and limit the concept of the social public, the art literacy and the social public art literacy training; Chapter three elaborates on the theory of the social public art literacy training , which revolves the era appeal, the research foundation, the theory framework and structure, the feasibility of training and the social functions and effects; Chapter four is mainly to made the preliminary investigation and analysis to the current situation of the social public’s artistic literacy and public art education; Chapter five is about the training countermeasures which should be applied to the process of the social public art literacy training.
