ANNOUNCEMENT OF 2001 RESULTS
The board of directors of Sichuan Expressway Co., Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the audited results of pany and its subsidiaries (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Group") for the year ended 31 December 2001, prepared in conformity with the basis of presentation as stated in note 1 below, together with the parative figures as follows:
RESULTS
The Group's turnover for the year amounted to Rmb664,607,000, representing a % pared to last year. Profit attributable to shareholders for the year was Rmb174,576,000, a % increase over last year. Earnings per share was (2000: ).
