Abstract Nanobiotechnology which considered one of the key technologies of the 21st century is a young and rapidly evolving field of research at the crossroads of biotechnology and nanoscience, two inter disciplinary areas each of bines advances in science and engineering. At present, nanobiotechnology is a field that concerns the utilization of biological molecules to anic or anic nanomaterials and functional nanostructures. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is an ideal bio-molecule as a building block of nanostructures, which can be utilize to fabricate various functional nano-scale materials and elements. Although the researches in nanotechnology were developed at the beginning of the foundation of nanotechnology in my country, nanotechnology is still in a fairly embryonic state, because the present researches are focused on preparation and characterization of nanomaterials, and the researches of the application of nanomaterials in fabricating functional nanodevices have rarely been developed. Therefore, the content in our research is to fabricate the DNA-templated nanomaterials and investigate the application of the as-prepared nanomaterials.
