车牌识别系统中的牌照定位
摘要:由于经济发展对交通管理和管控有了更高的要求,车牌识别是实现交通管理系统的一项重要技术。在车牌识别系统中,首要的就是把识别的车牌提取出来,这是车牌识别系统中很重要的步骤,定位的精确度将影响车牌的识别效率。
在这次毕业设计中,我们基于MATLAB的车牌识别系统进行牌照定位,由于MATLAB软件的合理使用,并且对每种车辆的图像的处理手段来分析比较,最后筛选出最好的车牌预处理、车牌粗略的定位和精定位的方法。这次设计使用的方法是:基于微分的边缘检测,第一:从通过边沿提取后的车辆图像中提取车牌特征,其次分析处理,获得初步定出车牌的区间,再次使用车牌的常识与散布的特征对车牌区域二值化图像间处理,最后得到车牌的准确区域。

License plate location of license plate recognition system
Abstract:Because of the economic development of traffic management and control have higher request, license plate recognition is an important technology to realize traffic management system. In the license plate recognition system, the first is to identify the license plate extracted, this is an important step in license plate recognition system, the accuracy of positioning will affect the efficiency of license plate recognition.
In the graduation design, in this foundation, designed and developed under the license plate location and license plate recognition system based on MATLAB, using MATLAB software, and for each vehicle image processing method to analyze pare parison, finally determine the license plate preprocessing, license plate coarse positioning and fine positioning method. This design USES the method is: edge detection based on differential. First: from vehicle image after edge detection to extract the license plate character, secondly analysis, obtained the preliminary set license plate area, again using a priori knowledge of the license and distribution characteristics of the license plate area binarization image processing, finally get the accuracy of license plate region.
