Su Yu is a pupil from Qiong Hua Sect(琼华派). She fell in love with her senior,Xuan wield(控制,支配) twin sword (Xi He 曦和and Wang Shu 望舒) which can help the whole Qiong Hua people to reach the Holy Land(圣地;仙界) and archive immortality.
However, Su Yu and Yun Tian-qing(their best friend in Qiong Hua) realise this motive(动机) of Qiong Hua Sect will going to sacrifice a lot of people, both Qiong Hua and Demon World. Su Yu decided to leave Qiong Hua Sect but Xuan Xiao disagree with her. They breakup(分裂).
Then Su Yu bring along the Wang Shu sword and run away with Yun Tian-qing to Mount Qing Luan(青鸾峰).
Without Wang Shu Sword, Qiong Hua is unable to reach Holy Land, and the war between Qiong Hua and Demon World can be avoided. Xuan Xiao lapses into frenzy while practising twin sword.
In fact twin sword cannot be separated. The leader of Qiong Hua is forced to imprison him in the ice prison.
After that, Su Yu is married to Yun Tian-qing and live their secluded life in Mount Qing Luan. Su Yu is unable to practise twin sword without Xi He sword. The coldness from Wang Shu sword spreads in her body and she es frail and sick. She died soon after giving birth to Yun Tian-he. Several years later , Yun Tian-qing died too.
Since Yun Tian-he was born in the Mount Qing Luan, he never leaves there. One day, he meets a girl called Han Ling-sha, who breaks into Mount Qing Luan to find Sword Master.
Yun Tian-he would like to probe(探查) his parent‘s past and learn more about the swordplay(剑术). Therefore he panies Han Ling-sha to leave Mount Qing Luan.
When they went to Chao Hu ,they meet some they can’t hold over, Mu Rong Zi-ying,a pupil of Qiong Hua Sect appeared and saved them. Then they hope to learn swordplay from Qiong Hua Sect .
They coincidencely acquainted with(与…相识) the daughter of Shouyang City‘s magistrate(裁判官;县令), Liu Meng-li.
