第二讲
做阅读理解题,不同的人,不同的习惯,不同的方法,
最常见的有两种:
第一种:先阅读,后做题;
第二种:先看题,后阅读。既可做到心中有数,又能节约时间,比较可取;
检验:统筹兼顾,把文章后边的试题整合在一起,检验自己所选择的答案之间意思是否连贯,有否不合常理的,相反或相背的现象。
除非个别选题有特殊的要求,比如说except/Not等。
第三种:不阅读,直接做题,求证式阅读
实际上相当多的阅读理解题,只要把给出的四或五个题的问题与答案选择项统一起来,运用常识、词汇学、语义学与篇章学的知识,就能发现其主题与主要内容,无需阅读全文,只有细节题需要到原文中找出处。
依据:不管出题的人有多么的独特,都不可能离经叛道,绝大多数的答案都应该符合“常理”。
例一)
1. In Paragraph 1, “I’ m surprised it was that much” means the author thinks________.

做法:根据4个问题与16个选项中的高频词来确定主题
高频词:pedestrians, car drive, lack of facilities, cross the street, on foot
主题:关注的是市区步行人的交通问题。
1)词的感情色彩:褒义、中性、贬义
政府对行人交通设施的投入资金问题:
重要词:surprise 惊喜—褒义词
四个选项:C是褒义(approving); A与D 为贬义(negative),B为中性(neutral),;
正确答案:C。
2)问题:市区交通状况很差,上书店不得不开车(Had to drive),
4 个选项都与横穿街道相关cross the street on foot,
常识:街道不可能宽到常人(开车者)无法步行穿过的程度;
B与C选项与常规不符;
D选项no one ever全部否定,太绝对;
正确答案:A(对个体而言,正巧不是时候)
3)问题涉及Most Americans对步行设施的关心度,根据常识:USA is a nation on the wheels, 私家车的普及率可想而知,
