The preparation and pharmacodynamic investigation of Dexamethasone Acetate-loaded nanostructured lipid carriers in thermo-sensitive gel
【Abstract】OBJECTIVE To prepare a formulation of dexamethasone acetate-loaded nanostructured lipid carriers in thermo-sensitive gel (DXM-NLC-GEL) and investigate the pharmacodynamic property. METHODS: DXM-loaded lipid nanoparticles were prepared by film-ultrasonic dispersion technique, and then incorporated into thermo-sensitive gel to prepare a kind of multiple drug delivery systems. Pharmacodynamic tests were carried out by an inflammation model creating by chilli tincture on the eyes of rabbits. RESULTS The therapeutic effect of DXM-NLC-GEL was significant pared with the same dosage of DXM-PBS eye drops. CONCLUSION therapeutic activity of DXM-NLC-GEL is much better than the conventional dosage form of eye drops. 【Key words】dexamethasone acetate;nanostructured lipid carriers;thermo-sensitive gel pharmacodynamic
