TPO Speaking Integrated tasks Campus situation TPO 1 The speakers discuss two possible solutions to the woman’s problem. Briefly summarize the problem. Then state which should solution you mend and explain why. Preparation Time: 20 SecondsResponse Time: 60 Seconds The woman's problem is that she works as a volunteer and she is going to take some children to the zoo, but she doesn't have a van. The 1st solution is that she could drive her car and also borrow a friend's car and have an extra driver together to take the kids to the zoo. The 2nd solution is that she takes a bus with the kids, but it's a great challenge for her to take care of the children on the think the second solution is better because the woman doesn't have to ask two people for help. What she has to do is just take care of the children on the bus, and that's what she is supposed to do on the volunteer project. Sample 1 The woman was supposed to drive a bunch of elementary students to the zoo tomorrow but she didn't rent a van in time and the kids will be disappointed if the trip gets cancelled. The man suggests her to borrow a car from one of her friends. But she has to borrow two cars to hold all the kids and it's hard to find another driver. Then the man suggests her to take the public transportation. He is pretty sure that there is a bus line past the zoo. But the woman thinks it's hard to control the kids on the bus. Well personally, I would mend the woman to take the bus line. Even if the kids are handful, they are still controllable. But there is no guarantee that she can borrow two cars and find another driver at the same time. Sample 2 TPO 2 The speakers discuss two possible solutions to the woman’s problem.
