摘要

随着多媒体技术和宽带网络的飞速发展,公共电视和视频点播VOD系统的应用越来越广泛,并深受用户的欢迎。智能化住宅小区的普及,给有线电视网络和视频点播服务带来了广阔的应用前程,有线电视其传输方式采用光纤或光纤同轴电缆混合传输系统,传输距离较远,广泛用于小区。而VOD系统采用了先进的计算机存储与控制技术、宽带网络技术、数字通信技术等,实现了视频节目的存储传输、信号的调制与解调数字化,具有容量大,操作简单,图像质量好,误码率低等特点。
作为一个现代化的智能住宅小区,公共电视和视频点播VOD系统可以为居住在住宅小区内的人们营造一个舒适美好的生活环境,并且可建立一套根据用户需要,能随时提供视频服务的电信业务系统。本文涉及到了如何实现公共电视和VOD系统视频点播的技术。论述了智能化交互式实现的过程。
本文是主要为住宅小区设计一个公共电视与VOD视频点播系统,集有线电视及卫星天线系统为一体,兼顾交互式视频点播功能,为用户提供优质的视频信息服务,使用户既能被动收听和收看电视节目,又能主动实时交互地与系统进行音、视频信息的交流。
