Course Description
Introduction to CBA Careers and Co-op is designed to assist you in developing your first professional portfolio. pletion of this course will allow you to develop the necessary skills and foundation necessary for you to be essful in your search for your first co-op. At the end of this course, you will have:
Completed CareerLeader – a self- assessment inventory designed for undergraduate business students
Selected/confirmed your concentration selection
Prepared CBA Co-op appropriate draft resume
Utilized MyNEUCool to explore sample co-op positions
Written a letter of introduction to your Co-op Coordinator
Uploaded all required documents to your portfolio in MyNeuCool so that your future Coordinator can access them for use in preparing you for co-op
Course Requirements & Expectations
BUSN 1100 is a mandatory pre-requisite to BUSN 1103 (Professional Development for CBA Co-op)
The course is Pass/Fail and you must receive an 80 in order to pass. Students who do not pass this course will be ineligible to take BUSN 1103.
