摘要
人们对便捷通信的强烈渴望推动了无线通信技术的飞速发展。现阶段的无线通信产业主要集中在话音业务上,但随着与爆炸式发展的因特网融合的实现,无线通信业务范围将发展成多种业务结合的综合性业务。无线通信网络的跨层设计的主要任务是彻底改变原先固定不变的协议分层结构,将原来被割裂的网络各层作为同一的整体进行设计和优化,以便在时变的无线衰落信道中能够保证多媒体业务的QoS(Quality of Service)变得切实可行。
论文在研究跨层设计的基础之上,论述了跨层设计的背景、现状、原理以及跨层设计的实现方法等。重点介绍了点到点的跨层设计,即如何通过联合自适应(AMC,the adaptive modulation and coding)技术和混合自动请求重传(HARQ,hybrid automatic repeat request)技术来优化系统的吞吐量、时延、丢包率。再通过计算机对理论分析进行了仿真验证。理论分析和仿真结果表明基于Type-III HARQ比ARQ能够有效的优化网络整体性能,具有较高的研究价值。

ABSTRACT
People’s desirations promote the rapid growth of wireless technologies for providing anytime, anywhere munications. At present, the munications industry is mainly concentrated on the voice business. But with the explosive growth of the and the realization of integration of munications and , it will be developed into prehensive kind of business. Cross-layer design of works is pletely change the main task of the original fixed framework agreement, which aims to be divided by the work of the same layers as the overall design and optimization, in order to guarantee QoS (Quality of Service ) for multimedia business in the time-varying wireless fading channel.
Based on cross-layer design, this thesis discusses the concept of cross-layer design, status, principles and implementation method. With an emphasis on point to point cross-layer design, that is how it unites the adaptive modulation and coding (AMC, the adaptive modulation and coding) technology and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ, hybrid automatic repeat request) techniques to optimize the system throughput. The theoretical analysis puter simulation is verified. Theoretical analysis and simulation show that the Type-III HARQ can much more effectively optimize work performance than ARQ, which is of high research value.
