Jiujiang University relies mainly on traditional scientific management of labor, as well as other office software to carry out a variety of data registration to query, and to conduct other operations. The research and management spent a great deal of manpower, wasting material and financial resources and time, which was inefficient and had poor data sharing rate.
With the rapid development of information technology, network-based management information system has been developed as an important application of modern information technology. The work construction of Jiujiang university has been improved steadily, thus the development of a scientific research management system for the Jiujiang University is very important.
Based on the existing conditions of JJU, the thesis analyzes the functional requirement of different users and the business processes of scientific management, then designs a database system and a method of calculating scientific workload. The system consists of eight sub-systems, including
