About the Authors
Joli Ballew, 2007 Microsoft Windows–Shell/User MVP, is a technical author, a technology
trainer, and Web site manager in the Dallas area. She holds several certifications, including
MCSE, A+, and MCDST. She’s written almost two dozen books, including Degunking Windows
(awarded the IPPY award for puter book of the year in 2005), CNet’s Do It Yourself 24 Mac
Projects, PC Magazine’s Office 2007 Solutions, Breakthrough Windows Vista (Microsoft Press),
and Windows working (Microsoft Press). In her free time, she enjoys golfing, yard
work, exercising at the local gym, and teaching her cat, Pico, tricks.
Justin Harrison is an expert in digital media and a three time Microsoft Windows Media
Center MVP. He has written for Magazine and has been quoted as a source in the
Hartford Business Journal. In the past he has worked with the Casual Games team at Microsoft
and has authored more than eight columns and webcasts for the Microsoft Windows XP Expert
Zone. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking and photography.
