Analysis of Energy Saving Reform Program of an Office Building in
Guangzhou

Abstract: Eight kinds of reforming programs were analyzed which aim at the reconstruction of energy-saving of an office
building in Guangzhou. The results showed bination of single pane Low-E glass and the external shading is the
,
most effective mode which gets % of energy saving; and bination of external shading and Low-E glass
filming can save % of energy. The rate of setting external shading alone, replacing single pane Low-E glass,
filming on the glass and replacing Low-E insulated glass units is %, %, % and % respectively. The
key of buildings' energy-saving design and reconstruction is the exterior windows in this region.
