As a natural tragedy, an earthquake strikes all of a sudden, and it usually lasts a dozen seconds or so, often followed by aftershocks. Lots and lots of buildings would be leveled, and a large number of people would e victims. Rescues and contributions are e to survivors, but the great damage is done. Can we do anything before an earthquake?
