It is an important resource on which human society' existence and development rely and the major site where all social activities take place. At the same time, it is one of the non-renewable resources. Land using situation is the basis of proper usage, planning, protection and scientific management and is the premise of each kind of land management performance. Nowadays, the fact that the data and information are not scientific enough results in the imperfection and uracy of the land using changing data. With the development of space technique, sensor technique, digital photographic process and some relevant techniques, remote sensing has developed into a new phase of timely, dynamic, quick and accurate land observation. Remote sensing technology is more and more widely used in the dynamic supervision of land usage at the same time. Based on the spectral signature differences of the photographs of one same area in different years, dynamic monitoring of land using change can identify the changingprocess of land using situations. Its essence is to quantify Multi temporal series of images. Through the quantization of coupling characteristics of multitemporal remote sensing images in space domain, time domain, spectral domain, we can obtain the types, locations and quantity of land using change.
