This is the Millennium City Park. The built area are re-creations based on the famous twelfth century painting by zhang zeduan of “The Qingming Festival by the Riverside “. The whole landscpe in Millennium City Park reflects an eternal theme of harmony between human and nature . It is a place where you can relax and gain inspiration
This is some pictures about the stele forest of the imperial academy .It is the biggest stele forest in our country. There you will find many steles as you can see in the picture . And you can enjoy different style of the stele .
This is the Dragon Pavilion. Because of its excellent fengshui,there had been altogether 22 emperors being enthroned here . From Dragon Pavilion,you can get a very good idea of the ancient kaifeng city layout.
This is a picture about the statue of the Kwan-yin with one thousand hands in xiangguo temple . In fact, there are more than one thousand hands on it. And it was carved more than 200 years ago.
This is the Iron Pagoda. It was constructed in 1049. It has survived the destruction of wars and floodings and become the oldest landmrk in this ancient city.
The following pictures are Bo Ta, It was built in song dynasty. Although has been partially destroyed, we can clearly see that there is a different Buddhist statue on each different bricks.
