摘要
意象是中国文学批评史一个颇为重要的名词,文学作品历来重视意象的生成
与解读。意象具有超言越象的特征,隐藏着丰富的精神内涵和文化密码,是文学
作品中的闪光点。
乡村意象属于整体意象,是一类意象的共名,并不是指同一意义的一个意象。
在当代文学作品中,乡村意象已经颠覆了传统乡村代表的乌托邦式的世外桃源,
呈现出现代性和多样性。它与城市意象是一组以空间来命名的对举意象,这一组
意象反复出现在当代的文学作品中。在新时期文学作品中,城市与乡村从来不是
单独存在的。很多乡村小说都以城市作为参照物和背景,城市叙事也离不开乡村
叙事,乡村意象和城市意象的变化是相依的。城市作为乡村的对举意象,从整洁
高大的理想之城走向了废都,乡村意象也由传统的世外桃源式的乌托邦走向了废
墟和荒原。诗意乡村消失后,城市也不能成为人的精神庇护所,当代人的精神无
处安身。
新时期文学作品中生成了不同类型的乡村意象,乡村意象所负载的意蕴是越
来越丰富,而且与传统的乡村意象呈相反的向度,逐步走向虚化。从横向看,相
同时期不同作家的作品可生成意蕴相似的乡村意象;从纵向看,同一个作家不同
时期的作品生成的乡村意象的意蕴不断地叠加,变形。乡村由实体的农村变成了
家园,生命场,野地,荒野和废墟,乡村在负载了这些意蕴之后,成为新时期文
学作品中的一个耀眼的文学审美意象。
乡村意象,在融合了作家关于人类自身生存的本体问题以及关于时代问题的
思考之后,丰富了自身的形态,更新和深化了传统乡村意象的意蕴,焕发出新的
光彩。

In New Stage Literary Works of Country Imagery Evolution
Abstract
Imagery is one of the most crucial concepts in Chinese critical
literatures, since its emergence and analysis are consistently taken into
account in literary works. On one hand, it embraces the quality of
amplifying the meaning, on the other hand, it implies rich connotations
and mysterious cultural, which makes it e brilliant in literary
works.
As a branch of Imagery, Country Imagery, which is totally different
from Imagery in meaning, has played an important role in literary works.
This thesis will discuss the evolution of Country Imagery in New Stage
literary works. In contemporary literatures, comparing with traditional
imageries which are the representative of utopia, country imageries have
changed into being modernistic and meaningful. Meanwhile, Country
Imagery and Urban Imagery is a pair of opposite notions which are
frequently used in contemporary literatures. But in New Stage literary
works, neither of them can exist independently. Many rural literatures
need urban imageries as references and background information, so do
