I、教学设计思路
通过任务型教学和小组合作探究的活动形式，学习动词的一般过去时表达法，是继上一单元学习一般过去时的特殊疑问句和一般疑问句的用法。以各种活动促知识的运用，培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
 
II教材分析
sectionB要在已学习how was your weekend?谈论周末的基础上，进一步对假期的去向和评价进行问答，以及用日记的方式记录自己的一天，这是学生日常生活频繁使用的语言交际功能，体现了新教材融会话题、交际功能和语言结构的循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。

a be动词、助动词及动词在过去时中的表达法；
b 一些地名和事件的表达法；
c 表达感受的几个形容词relaxing boring awful

a对假期的去向进行问答,如：Where did you go on vacation?
b谈论自己度假的感受， 如：It was pretty good
