(1)增加；增添
Add up to 加起来等于；总计；结果是
Add A to B/add A to B 把A和B加起来
Add to 增加；增添

(2)补充说；继续说；其后常跟that从句或是和直接引语连用
He added that they return soon.
他补充说他很快就回来。
I have nothing to add to my statement.
我对我的陈述没有什么可补充的。

(1)adj. 心烦意乱的；不愉快的；肠胃不适
Be upset about/over sth. 为某事烦心。
Be upset that... 心烦
There is no point getting upset about it.
犯不着为此事烦心。
(2)使不安
It upsets sb. that 让某人心烦的是
It upsets sb. to do sth. 做某事让某人不快
It upsets me to think of her all alone in that big house.

Vt. 忽视；对...不理睬；不顾
He had pletely ignored her remark, preferring his own theory.

Ignorant adj. 不知的；无知的
Ignorance n. 无知；愚昧
Be ignorant of/about sth. 对某事不了解
Be in ignorance of sth. 不知某事；对某事不了解

Her voice was surprisingly calm down.
她的声音出人意料地平静。
Calm down 平静下来；镇静下来
Calm、quiet、still、silent的区别
Calm 平静的；沉着的；指无风浪或是人的不激动
You should keep calm even in face of danger.
即使面对危险，你也应当保持镇静。
Quiet宁静的；安静的；指没有声音，不吵闹或是心理没有烦恼。
His health turned better after a quiet holiday abroad.
在国外度过一个宁静的假期之后他的健康状况有所好转。
Still静止的；不动的；指没有运动或动作的状态。
