摘要 Y1913014 近代中国社会风云突变,社会经济、政治、文化、教育等方面发生了极其深刻的变革。中国社会也因此由传统步入现代之路,尽管步履艰难,却坚定地向前行进,犹如蝉的蜕变,走向新生。中国社会由传统向现代的嬗变,不是局部的变化,而是整个社会体系的蜕变,社会制度的深刻变革,社会结构的剧烈变动,思想观念的巨大变化。造成这一现象的原因是多方面的,它所产生的影响也是重大的,极为复杂。而发生在这一时期的白话文运动为我们观察近代中国社会的转型,提供了一个重要的窗口。本文的大意是阐明近代白话文运动与社会转型之间存在的相关性与互动性,由此说明语言文化的变革与近代社会内部的变化是紧密相连的。白话文运动的兴起受到当时社会政治、思想、文化等的深刻影响,转型中的社会又为正在发生的语言变革提供了客观条件。而其在发展的过程中又极为关注社会政治、思想、文化等领域的发展,吸收西方文明,从而培育现代化的某些因素,推动这些领域的相关方面朝着现代化方向转型。这也就使近代白话文运动有了社会转型下的现代性意义。文言文历经数千年,它负载了太多的包袱,利用这一文体所构建的思想文化,具有极强的封建性和保守性,成为中国走向现代必须要克服的一个障碍。从社会转型的视角,研究白话文运动,我们可以窥见此次运动背后中国知识分子在语言文化上为中华民族重新崛起所做出的重大努力。他们试图通过革新语言文化,借鉴西方的现代元素, 构建新文化的模式,摆脱封建愚昧的文化因素,培育新文化的蓓蕾以发新文化的花果,重建新文化的精神,改造国民,为社会的发展注入强劲持久的动力,促使中华民族走上复兴之路。关键词:近代中国;社会转型;白话文运动 ABSTRACT The situation changes in modern Chinese society, socio—economic,politics, culturre, education,profound changes hadtaken society therefore stepped into the tradi tional road from the modern one,though slumbering, but to forward firmly. ifthe cicada7 transformationbut move orward 1rmlY as 1 the C1caoa S 1siorma 10il, O to a new society from the traditional to the modern evolution,is not alocal change,but thewhole social system transformation,profound changes in social systems, dramatic changes insocial structure,great changes in ideas.
