Unit 7 How much are these socks?
Teaching aims:

1) Vocabulary:
much, How much…, a sweater, socks, a T-shirt, shorts, trousers, shoes, a skirt,a bag.
dollar, big, small, short, long, woman, need, look, pair, take.
2).Target language:
How much is the blue T-shirt? It’s seven dollars.
How much are these socks? They are two dollars.
Can I help you? Here you are. I’ll take it/them.
2. Ability objectives: Encourage students learn to ask and answer the price of the things.
3. Emotion objectives: To cultivate the cooperation through peer interaction. Encourage them to save money and use money properly.

Step 2: Presentation:
Show students all the clothes in Jordan’s Store. A sweater, socks, a T-shirt, shorts, trousers, shoes, a skirt,a bag and so on.
Play a game to enforce the sentence structures: It’s a ..../ They’re....
Finish 1a on the textbook. Match the words with pictures.

Practice sentence structures: How much is/ are ...
