一、 课程简介
老年口腔医学（Gerostomatology,课程编码B090034）是口腔医学中的临床 学科之一，是研究老年口腔疾病的病因机制、诊断分析及其预防和治疗的一门科 学。本课程的教学是在掌握一般医学基础、口腔医学基础和临床医学课程的基础 上进行，其目的是通过讲课、示教与实习，临床见习、自习、讨论、辅导和考试 等教学环节，使学员了解并初步掌握老年口腔疾病的病因机制、检查诊断、治疗 原则与方法，以及预防和治疗，其具体要求如下：
（一） 基本理论与知识
1、 掌握常见老年口腔疾病的形成与发展过程，老年口腔及颌面组织的增龄性 变化特点。
2、 掌握老年口腔疾病的检查、诊断、制定治疗计划及防治方法。
（二） 基本技能
1、 老年口腔疾病的检查、诊断技能
2、 老年橘病、牙髓疾病、根尖周围组织病的治疗技能。
3、 老年人口腔修复治疗原则，可摘局部义齿的设计和制作及老年人常见问题 的修复处理。
本学科将采取课堂讲授、实验室练习、书写病历、病案讨论等方式，并充分 利用标本、模型、幻灯、录相、录音及计算机多媒体教学等形象化教学手段和电 教教材，着重培养学员独立思考、分析、解决实际问题的能力和操作能力。本大 纲适用于口腔医学专业全日制五年制本科，15学时，。
The subject of Gerostomatology, which applying to stomatology undergraduates of five academic years form as a required subject, is to explore the etiological mechanism, diagnostic analysis, prophylaxis and treatment of geriatric dentistry. By systemic theory lecture and experimental curriculum, students should master the formation, development , diagnosis, examining and prophylaxis methods of geriatric diseases and its contribution on development in oral maxillofacial region, be familiar to write medical record, make treatment plan. Within the clinical area, students become acquainted with the philosophies and principles of prosthodontic treatment with fixed, removable, implant and maxillofacial prosthodontics. The course will adopt several teaching forms as follows: systemic theory lecture, experiment, clinical noviciate, self-teaching, discussing, reading and reporting conference. Means of teaching are vivid, such as multimedia, picture, clinical sample and model. The course emphasize to educate the ability of thinking independently, the ability of resolving factual problem , and the ability of clinical manipulation. The course includes 15class hours which costs .
