摘要：党的经过全党和全国各族人民的共同努力，我们胜利实现了现代化建设“三步走”战略的第一步、第二步目标，人民生活总体上达到小康水平。这是社会主义制度的伟大胜利，是中华民族发展史上一个新的里程碑。必须看到，我国正处于并将长期处于社会主义初级阶段，现在达到的小康还是低水平的、不全面的、发展很不平衡的小康，人民日益增长的物质文化需要同落后的社会生产之间的矛盾仍然是我国社会的主要矛盾。我国生产力和科技、教育还比较落后，实现工业化和现代化还有很长的路要走； 城乡二元经济结构还没有改变，地区差距扩大的趋势尚未扭转，贫困人口还为数不少。

Abstract:This is a great victory for the socialist system and a new milestone in the history of the development of the Chinese nation..We must be aware that China is in the primary stage of socialism and will remain so for a long time to e. The well-off life we are leading is still at a low level; it is not all-inclusive and is very uneven. The principal contradiction in our society is still one between the ever-growing material and cultural needs of the people and the backwardness of social production..Our productive forces, science, technology and education are still relatively backward, so there is still a long way to go before we achieve industrialization and dual structure in urban and rural economy has not yet been changed, the gap between regions is still widening and there are still quite a large number of impoverished people.
