英语句子成分根据英语词汇在英语句子中的地位和作用, 英语句子的成分可分为主语、谓语、宾语、宾语补足语、表语、定语、状语、同位语及独立成分等。其中,主语和谓语是句子的主要成分,一般情况下,一个句子不能缺少这两种成分。
1. 主语:表示句子所要说明或描述的人或事物,置于句首。如:It’s getting cold. 天冷起来了。Now everything is ready. 现在一切都准备好了。The teacher is very kind to us. 老师对我们很好。
(1)名词作主语 David arrived last night. 大卫昨晚到达。 Pride goes before a fall. 骄必败。

(3) 数词作主语 Two will be enough. 两个就够了Two-thirds of the workers are women. 三分之二的工人是女工。

(7) 短语作主语 How to do well is an important question. 如何把这件事做好是一个重要问题。 Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy. 早睡早起身体好。
(8) 从句作主语 What has happened proves that our policy is right. 发生的一切证明我们的政策是对的。 Whether we'll go depends on the weather. 我们是否去要看天气。
(9) it 作主语,有如下情况: 1)指代刚刚提到的事物:What’s this ? It’s a bus. (指代what)
