艳山红街道党工委在区委、区政府的正确领导和指导下，以第三批科学发展观实践活动发为契机，以创建“六型社区” （即：和睦型社区、服务型社区、殷实型社区、平安型社区、文化型社区、靓丽型社区）建设为载体，以便民利民服务为主导，大力推进和谐街道建设。紧紧围绕加快“两个新城”建设和服务“三创一办”工作，结合“创先争优”和“三个建设年”、“四帮四促”等活动，以“狠抓经济建设，构建和谐社会，不断推进街道又好又快发展”为原则，抓班子、带队伍，抓基层、强基础，街道经济建设、社会建设、城市管理、平安建设、精神文明建设、党的建设等各项工作全面进步。2007-2009年连续三年获得年度党风廉政工作先进单位、基层党建工作先进单位、统战工作先进单位等荣誉称号，2010年获得白云区“三创一办”工作先进集体，2006-2008年荣获全省文明单位，2009年更获得全国和谐社区建设示范街道称号。现就2006年以来工作述职述廉如下：
一、主要工作成绩
（一）狠抓街道经济和社会事业健康、快速发展
街道始终把发展经济放在首位。通过招商引资、项目开发提高街道财政收入水平，，；实现固定资产投资83898万元，与2006年相比增加了77548万元；实现区外内资到位资金58600万元，；实现了规模工业产值6811万元。
