DTMB industrialization, deployment status in China, as well as the field trial results against ot her international standards in South America is reported. IP issue and the progress of DTMB related standards facilita ting DTMB deployment domestically are also addressed. Some practical ideas on leveraging DTMB standard and its core technologies to other application areas are highlighted.
