Brief introduction
Langzhong, located in the north of Sichuan Pard about a peace treaty between the Shu and Wu kingdoms. They were so afraid that they threw Zhang's head into the nearest river outside Langzhong. A fisherman in Chongqing City, Sichuan Province, found Zhang's head and buried it at the foot of a mountain.
Langzhong people soon built a temple to honor Zhang. The temple has been burnt several times throughout history, but the locals restored the temple to show their respect for the general.
Streets and Lanes
A bird's-eye view from the distance reveals the ancient town of Langzhong as a sea of grey-tiled, upturned eaves. As you walk through the town, you will be impressed by its green, slab stone paths, tinged with antiquity. so ancient streets and lanes in the town each have a story behind their names,
such as the Zhuangyuan (top examinee in the imperial examination) Street, Cufang (Vinegar (醋) Workshop) Street, and Gulianzi (Ancient Lotus Seeds) Lane. Some were named after historic events, such as Ying'en (Receiving Imperial Grace) Street.
Oneness of Man and Nature

Almost all ancient towns in China were built according to fengshui, one of the fascinating disciplines in Chinese history. Langzhong is said to be the only existing ancient town that was built according to Tang Dynasty fengshui.
Fengshui literally translates as wind and water. There is always a misconception that fengshui is plagued with myths and superstition, but it should rather be related to Chinese astrology (占星术), numerology,(命理学)
Geomancy（风水） and cosmology（宇宙学）.
