第四条 在本省行政区域内的医疗卫生机构执业，并受聘担任初级（参加临床住院医师规范化培训和全科医师规范化培训的初级人员按临床住院医师规范化培训和全科医师规范化培训规定进行）、中级、高级卫生专业技术职务的人员均须接受继续医学教育。中、高等医学院校毕业生（含硕士生、博士生）、由省外调入或部队转业到我省的卫生专业技术人员自报到的当年起纳入我省继续医学教育管理。
第五条 参加继续医学教育和规范化培训是卫生技术人员应享有的权利和应尽的义务，卫生技术人员接受继续医学教育和规范化培训期间享受在岗人员同等的工资和福利待遇。 
第六条 继续医学教育实行学分制，学分包括I类学分和Ⅱ类学分。省、市（州）级以上医疗卫生机构卫生技术人员每年参加继续医学教育活动，获得的最低学分数不得低于25分，所获I、Ⅱ类学分不可互相替代；县级医疗卫生机构卫生技术人员每年参加继续医学教育活动，获得的最低学分数不得低于

20分，所获I、Ⅱ类学分不可互相替代；乡镇基层医疗卫生机构卫生技术人员每年完成继续医学教育活动的最低学分数不得低于10分（不区分I、Ⅱ类学分）。民办医院及个体医疗机构按照卫生行政部门规定参加相应级别的继续医学教育。
第七条 继续医学教育学分实行登记制度。卫生技术人员必须持有省人事厅统一制发的《湖北省专业技术人员继续教育证书》，记录各项继续医学教育活动，对参加继续医学教育活动获得的学分进行登记，具体登记与审核按照《湖北省继续医学教育学分授予和学分登记管理实施细则》（见附件一）执行。
