T: Nowadays, there are many ways for us to communicate with others, such as QQ, E—mail, MSN, blog, mobile and letters.
Which one do you think is the classic one?
Ss: letters
T: Do you like writing letters?
Have you consider writing letters to get in touch with others. I think writing letters is a good way for us to communicate with each other.
So today we will talk about how to write letters。
Step3 writing
1 read a letter and match the parts of the letter with the following in Ex1
2 look at the high lighted linking words in the text. Which of them are used to contrast ideas(EX2)
3 match informed expressions which examples of formal style in the letter in EX3
