坚持正确的政治方向，大力宣传反腐倡廉的工作成果，先进人物的典型事迹，优秀廉洁文化传统和当代先进廉洁理念，增强廉洁文化对于干部群众行为的影响力，以身边的事教育身边的人，提升全校教职工的思想境界。
4、坚持与学生的受教育程度和认知能力相结合，突出时代性。
廉洁文化建设必须与时代特征、时代精神、时代要求紧密结合，不断加强和改进校园廉洁文化建设的方式方法，增强廉洁文化建设的生机和活力。

主要通过学科渗透、课外阅读，主题活动、生活体验教育四大基本途径来开展：
一是学科渗透，即有效、有序、动态地整合语文、社会、思想品德等学科教材中蕴涵的有关敬廉崇洁教育资源，在教学中强化渗透敬廉崇洁思想，进一步增强道德的实效性。
二是课外阅读，即根据学生的年龄和知识积累状况，组织引导学生挑选、阅读古今中外清正廉洁的故事、格言、图片和漫画，并撰写读后感或随笔，把敬廉崇洁的启蒙教育延伸到课外。
三是主题活动，即充分利用晨会、班会、班队活动，通过征文、手抄报、廉洁儿歌、童谣、诗歌创作朗诵比赛、廉洁格言征集等形式，开展内容丰富、形式新颖的主题教育活动，帮助学生在丰富多彩的教育活动中自觉或不自觉地感知、探究、思考和积累，把社会的道德要求内化为学生自身的道德需要。
四是生活体验，即结合学生实际，开展“创节俭校园”活动，引导学生通过采访调查、实践体验、研究性学习等途径，体验劳动的艰辛，感悟节俭的光荣，浪费的可耻，引导学生做一个勤俭节约、诚实正直的人。让学生在体验中成长，道德在实践中提高，情感在认知中升华，信念在教育中坚定，最终达到思想道德自我教育、自我约束、自我规范的目的。
