　　本课程是学期课，课内学时72，4学分。
二、课程的媒体配置
　　根据远距离成人教育的要求和本课程的特点，并考虑到学生的需要及承受力，本课程教学〔学习〕媒体以文字教材为主，以音像教材及其他媒体为辅。
　　文字教材是本课程各种教学媒体中最根本、最重要的一种，主要任务是传递根本教学信息，指导学生自学，同时也为学生提供必要的参考资料。
　　本课程的文字主教材为?优秀广告作品评析?，由首都经济贸易大学教授刘林清主编，由中央播送电视大学出版社出版。该教材将课程教学内容和自学指导内容有机融合在一起，不仅灵活地阐述了广告学的根本概念、根本理论、根本知识和我国广告评选活动的一般流程及运作标准，而且为学生自学提供了相应的指导，各章内容均由要点提示、学习目标、教学内容、小结、思考题等几局部组成。它是本课程教学与考核的根本依据。
