County continuation records has examined and approved the draft, spirit, believe, comprehensive Yearbo。井田内地貌简单，地形平坦，为第四纪冲积平原，北东高，南西低，%。矿区内无河流,只有采矿活动形成的塌陷积水坑三个。从多年的长期观测资料看，塌陷坑积水对采矿根本无影响。矿井历年最高洪水位为+〔1959年〕，而矿区工业广场地面标高在+--+，所以无雨季地表水水害问题。
本区属大陆性季风气候，降水多集中在７、８、9月份，，(1990年)，(1992年)。降雪期由十一月到次年三月，月降雪平均厚度30～40mm，最大163mm。风向多东风，冬季略偏北，最高风速25m/s。℃，最低气温-℃，℃。冻结期由十一月中旬到次年三月下旬，～,所以管道铺设深度在一米以上。

自十五世纪有记载以来，唐山～玉田一带共发生有感地震100余次，，其中6级以上2次。，国家地震局测定本矿区地震烈度为七度。
本区域受到的主要自然灾害威胁是地震，偶然也遇风灾和雹灾。现使用井筒三个:主井、副井、风井2个、暗立井。鉴于二水平〔-650水平〕辅提能力缺乏，建有-400-- -650水平暗立井一个。现开采水平为一、二水平。井田范围内无小煤窑生产。
煤系地层属于石炭系上统和二叠系下统，基底底层为中奥陶统马家沟组石灰岩，煤系地层总厚度约为600米，含煤8层，〔煤8-。

林南仓井田各煤层均属腐殖质煤，通过肉眼鉴定颜色一般为黑色，条痕褐灰色；呈眼球装断口；呈条带状、粒状及片状结构，少数为粉状。煤岩组分以亮煤为主，镜煤及丝炭少见，煤岩一般类型一般为光亮型，次为半暗型。井田以肥煤为主气煤次之，焦煤甚少。井田煤种分布特征具有明显的分带规律。由浅部至深部，煤的变质程度逐渐增高，其排列依次为气煤、肥煤至焦煤 。条带大致呈北50°～60°东向延展，其中以肥煤条带最宽、延展最长、所占面积最大，为井田的主要煤种。气肥、肥气煤及气煤分布于井田的南及西南边缘浅部。井田内煤的物理性质、煤质及煤岩等特征
