Last but not the least, big thanks to my husband and my daughter who have shared with me my worries , frustrations, and hopefully my ultimate happiness in eventually finishing this project. 5 Abstract The present study presents a detailed report ofa project implemented to solve the problem that most of my students learn deaf English in and out of class. It is hypothesized that improving their listening ability will be greatly increased by varied error-correction techniques in this respect. This hypothesis is verified bya four-week practice of varied error-correction techniques.
