Photo: Phyo Wai Kyaw First off, U Saw Phoe Thar, vice general manager of Myanma Post and munications for Mandalay Region, said last week that MPT plans to extend bandwidth in the region ’s GSM radio stations. “ We plete this work within two weeks, so the GSM bandwidth will expand to 360,000 lines for the entire region, ” he said. In addition, another 120 radio stations for GSM/UMTS (1+3) are now being built and of those, 55 are in the city so it can also increase subscriber lines to more than 300,000 in the area, he said.
