三、 so that 既能够指引目的状语从句又能够指引结果状语从句．
指引目的状语从句时可译为 "为了 " ,指引结果状语从句时可译为 "以便 "
如：
I speak loudly so that all the students can hear me (的状语从句 )
Maria likes the woolen dress so that she decides to buy it immediately .(结果状语从句 )
(1)so that 指引目的状语从句时，表示 “以便；为了 ”，从句中常使用 can /could /may /might /will /would /should 等神态动词或助动词；指引结果状语从句时，从句中一般不用 can 和 may 等词。
(2)So that 指引的目的状语从句以前不用逗号，而 so that 指引的结果状语从句与主句之间常常有逗号相分开（即略作停留），意思是 “所以 ;所以 ”。请比
