A New Coix lacryma-job Cultivar‘Renyi 1’

Abstract：A new coix cultivar 'Renyi 1' was systematically selected from an excellent single plant.
The plant has compact and upright type, short stem, developed root system, strong lodging resistance,
medium resistance to smut, and the growth period is 158 days. The number of grains per plant is 270, the
grains is oval, chitin. One thousand grains is 100g, and the yield is 325kg / 667m2. The protein content is
, fat content is , carbohydrate content is . It is suitable for planting in
Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province at an altitude of 1 100–1 300m and Anshun City at an altitude of
1100–1200 m.
