目前，由于一线民警长期处于一种高风险、高压力、高应急、高对抗性的状态，民警的心理健康往往容易受到较大的损害，出现一些身心不健康病症。民警的心理健康主要存在精神紧张、恐惧、焦虑、心情压抑、郁闷，情绪易冲动、暴躁、难以自控，自我效能感降低等问题。现在个别单位常常将思想政治工作取代心理素质的教育与训练，致使民警心理健康问题日益突出。现今结合自己的学习体会，浅谈一下民警的“职业压力〞及减压的途径。
一、警察职业压力的原因
〔一〕警察职业压力的定义
警察职业压力是指民警在职业环境中对长期的情绪紧张源和人际关系紧张源的应激反响而表现出的一系列心理、生理综合症。警察是一种与人打交道的职业,从某种意义上讲，这种工作就是一种助人活动,无论对群众,还是对违法犯罪人员，民警是存在“职业压力〞的高发人群。其特点是生理的耗损、慢性疲劳、无助感、绝望感、消极的自我概念。民警的“职业压力〞表现为情绪变得紧张不安、易怒、易躁,在工作中吹毛求疵；挖苦同事、神经过敏;单独一人时易多愁善感、悲观、沮丧、抑郁、自我评价能力低下,对现实不满；愤怒,难以激发工作热情,行为孤僻,不愿与人交往,或具有攻击性和侵犯性;经常产生疲劳感、无力感,失眠、食欲不振、背痛、头痛、全身酸痛,内分泌功能紊乱、血压升高等病症。
