【唐】贾岛 I have composed two lines in three years,
Reading them aloud I am full of tears.
二句三年得，一吟双泪流。
If they cannot attract my friend’s eye,
知音如不赏，归卧故山秋。
I’d go back home and in autumn mount lie.
