〔五〕品种优势 我们引进的都是优质矮化核桃，一年种植，三年培育，四年挂果，五至七年进入盛果期，改变了以前“桃三李四杏五年，想吃核桃十五年〞的传统种植模式，缩短了收益预期。特别是核桃营养高、易保存，价格高，市场前景广阔。
立足长远抓当前，全力建设万亩核桃林基地
我镇是上党地区水源保护地，受环保政策的影响和制约，产业的出路在农林。在实地调研、广泛听取意见和充分论证的根底上，我们确立了用三至五年时间建设万亩优质核桃经济林基地的新思路，这一思路被纳入我市开展10万亩核桃经济林的总体规划。2022年下半年以来，

先后投资600余万元开展了8000亩优质矮化核桃林。2022年6月，嫁接了1000亩实生核桃林。加上原有的2000亩，目前已有11000亩核桃林。按照省委“十二五〞末实现翻番的要求，我镇坚持走农业产业化、规模化开展道路，实现“五年任务四年完，剩下一年抓稳固〞奋斗目标。
具体规划是：
2022年投资300万元，开展4000亩；
2022年投资400万元，开展5000亩；
2022年投资400万元，开展5000亩；
2022年投资400万元，开展5000亩。
举全镇之力利用四年时间〔20011年—2022年〕，投资1500余万元，在荒山、荒沟、，累计开展核桃林3万亩，使优质核桃基地占全镇耕地总数的40%以上,真正成为我镇的主导产业，产值到达75000万元，实现人均2亩核桃林，人均增收5000元的奋斗目标。
〔一〕做好栽植规划。在市林业局的精心指导下，我们规划时做到“五个优先〞，即优先扶持种植大户，优先扶持种植积极性较高的农户，优先扶持集中连片规模种植区，优先开展立体条件较好的区域，优先开展公路交通沿线区域，保证重点，树立标杆，典型带动，示范引导，稳扎稳打，有序向水源地保护区内、四荒地、交通不便、立体条件较差和种植难度较大的区域推广。
〔二〕加大扶持力度。把市财政下拨的100万调产资金重点支持开展核桃产业。
