一是严格执行低保相关规定，确保低保金统一、按时、足额发放，及时将辖区内生活困难且符合条件的家庭纳入城市最低生活保障。二是今年区民政局对每个低保人员财政拨款4元，街道社区各占一半。街道、社区根据实际，将其用作岗位培训、名师讲座等。二是组织志愿者服务队不定期走访慰问低保家庭，了解低保户的生活现状。三是针对特困低保对象家庭，采取临时救助、求学救助、医疗救助、住房补贴等手段，切实解决他们的生活困难。
