Tiramisu 提拉米苏
Tiramisu is a classic Italian delicacy (美味).
It‘s rich in taste, just like treasure-hunting (探宝),
every layer has a different taste .
In the top thin cocoa here is the soft cheese,
followed by a layer of sponge cake(海绵蛋糕)
soaked(浸泡) with coffee and wine with a
more soft filling, and the bottom is a thin
layer of hard chocolate .
There are many different legend of tiramisu,
but one is the most romantic (浪漫)
and the most widely circulated(广为流传).
During World War II, an Italian soldier
have to leave their homes to join the army
As a result, his wife only to find out all biscuits, bread and coffee. She made them into a dessert and named this dessert tiramisu.
his wife would like to prepare some snacks for him . However, his family was too poor to provide the food
Every time the soldier eat this dessert on the battleground , he always think of his home and his beloved wife.
So tiramisu means “take me away”
and “remember me” in Italy
