Direction: Please read aloud the following short English passages, thinking about today’s Early Education problems.
Scene 1
Ever since the birth control policy introduction, Little Emperors have started to reign over three-generation families. People are familiar with the “drama” that if they are not satisfied in the toy section of a store, they will throw themselves to the floor right away and roll around, crying for their favorites until they get them. It is a big headache for parents to prepare meals that are to the Little Emperors’ taste. The most serious problem that is unsolved is how to get the moon down for them.
自从实行计划生育政策以来,“小皇帝”就一直控制着一家三代。人们都很熟悉这样的场面:一旦他们在商店的玩具区没有得到满足,他们就会立刻躺在地上不停地打滚,哭叫着要他们喜欢的玩具,大人买了以后才会起来。给“小皇帝”们做合口的饭菜对父母来说也是一个大问题。尚未解决的最严重的问题要算是怎样摘下挂在天上的月亮了。
