阅读理解四篇 A In the autumn of 1852 when he hunted in Spasskoye, Turgenev accidentally picked up a magazine called “Modern”. He turned over a few pages at random and was attracted by a story entitled “Childhood”,whose author was a novice nobody, but Turgenev appreciated and cherished so much. He asked about the author's residence, finally learned he lost his mother at the age of two and his father at the age of seven, raised by his aunt single-handedly; in order to get out of the muddy way of life, the author went to he Caucasian forces as soon as he graduated from school. He said, ‘If he can keep writing, this young man must have a boundless prospect!’” Receiving his aunt's letter, the author was wild with joy.
