英语教学培优辅差的有效途径与方法

教育,无论如何归结一点来,使其从“要我学〞转变为“我要学〞到达好、中、差三类学生共同进步,才能到达全部地大幅度地提高教学质量。英语教学的培优辅差,就是使优秀生在正确掌握教学内容之余学以致用,最终到达交际的目的;使差生在听、说、读、写的根底上得到提高,是提高教学质量的关键,也是每位英语教育者要培养跨世纪的外语人才以适应社会开展的艰巨任务。
那么,怎样开展培优辅差的教学工作呢?下面谈谈本人在英语教学实践中的几点体会。
一、   多接触、了解学生
俗话说:“育人先知人。〞一个教师要让学生喜爱自己所教的学科,除了讲课的艺术外,建立良好的师生关系也是十分重要的。学生从感情上接受了某个教师,并喜爱他〔她〕,那么在课堂上学生的学习积极性就比拟容易被调动起来,从而营造出一个学生认真听,愿意学并积极思考、大胆提出问题、答复以下问题的良好学习气氛。所以,教师应在课余时间多接触学生,参与他们的活动,深入他们的内心世界,了解他们的思想活动、学习情况、消除学生的畏难情绪,尤其是学习较差的学生,多征求他们对教学的意见,使他们在心理上接受你并喜爱你,进而喜爱上英语这一课堂。只有这样,才能使优秀生更优,才能使学习差的学生逐步得到提高,缩短与其他的距离。
二、   创设条件,培养兴趣,激发学载着他们的一些铁闻轶事,如:达尔文在考察生物时用嘴叼着虫子;阿基米德在洗澡时观察水蒸气等,都反映了他们对知识、对科学、对事业的兴趣。爱因斯旦曾经说过:“热爱是最好的老师。〞哥德也提到:“哪里没有兴趣,哪里就没有记忆。〞学生对英语学习缺乏兴趣,课堂上不专心,三天打鱼,两天晒网,学完后一个单元却忘了前一单元的现象较常见,因此培养学习英语的兴趣是保证课堂教学的一个重要条件,故此在教学中依据教材内容及学生的实际采用灵巧多样的教学方式〔如:唱英文歌曲、朗读英文诗歌、对话表演、传球、传话、猜谜语等方式〕,为他们创造学好英语的条件,激发学生的学习兴趣。如上Lesson10, Book I 有关颜色的单词时,单词多,各种颜色容易混淆,要求一年级学生死记硬背,往往会事倍功半,我先出示各种水彩笔的实物,让学生先有个感知印象,再让学生通过自己身边的各种不同色彩的实物进行情景练习,最后分发印有不同动物的空白图片让学生涂色。这样经过了眼看、口讲、手动等形式来学习这一些色彩的单词。使整个课堂气氛活泼,学生在自然的欢乐中掌握知识。又在lesson10 Book V. 三、   学法指导
常言道:“授之以鱼,不如授之以渔〞,实践证明学习方法是一把开发人们智能的金钥匙,也是学习取得成效的必要条件。英语作为一门同我们的母语差异甚大的语言学科,不经过持久的记忆训练是不可能学好的。法忆 = 窍门。学忆,这就需要学生掌握科学有效的记忆方法。针对学生出现的“很难记住单词〞的现象,教师在教学过程中对学生指导方法、引思路,使学生得到一把金钥匙——会学。如同音词记忆法,用too引出two、to;同义词记忆法用look引出watch、see;反义词记忆法,用new引出old;同类记忆法,用car引出bus;列举记忆法,用Sunday引出Monday等。学生在教师的正确引导下,轻松愉快地掌握语言知识。
四、   以优带差
教学中,学生是主体,教师是主导,要充分调动学生学习的积极性与主动性,在英语教学工作中除了自己亲力亲为外,开设了几个辅导小组选出了一批英语成绩好且工作能力强的同学进行“一带一〞行动。主要任务是每天抽时间〔15至18分钟〕催促差生进行训练,如带读课文,辅导练习,单词拼写及听写等。这样既使差生每天都有时间复习,稳固所学内容。同时也对优秀生施加了一定的压力,〔辅导学习差的同学〕俗话说:“有压力、才有动力。〞在差生得到提高的同时优秀生也得到了知识的稳固。从而大大减少优秀生与差生的心理隔膜。
五、   多鼓励,多表扬
但凡人都喜爱表扬,这是人类的属性。我们要根据人的这种特性来改良我们的教学。我们经常会发现一些学生特别是成绩差的学生上课时不能好好听课,而且越是批评越糟糕,教师的一番心血成了泡影。为此,在教学中教师要经常鼓励、表扬学生,少批评学生或挖苦学生。鼓励、表扬学生可从以下两方面进行:1、提倡自我比拟。教学中,要提倡自我比拟,将今天的“我〞与昨天的“我〞比拟,在比拟中寻找自己的成绩和进步,通过比拟及时发现并肯定学生哪怕是微小的进步来减少畏难情绪,培植他们的自信心。如某个差生测验成绩比以前提高了,即使是一点微小的进步,哪怕分数比上次提高1-2分也应给予肯定和表扬。2、让学生享受成功的喜悦。人都有成就欲,都渴望自己成为一个对社会有用的人,成功感是学习的一种动力。获得成功,能极大地激发学生的学习兴趣和热情,一次成功的体验会使学生的自信大增,作为教师应从各方面让学生,尤其是学习差的学生多尝成功的喜悦,如课堂上,在学生正确答复以下问题后,说

“very good〞,在批改作业时,批注上说“Good, Good job.〞同时,应尽量为中下等创造让他们取得成功的时机,多提问他们有把握答复的问题,有意让他们“表现〞一下,如:让他们帮助老师搬录音机及小黑板,扮演较易演的角色,借以鼓励他们,使他们逐步体会到学英语的乐趣,帮助他们建立“能学好英语〞的自信心。为今后取得更大进步打下根底。
总之,教育是一门科学,也是一种艺术。如何适时恰当地处理各种问题,是一个值得探讨研究的永恒课题,培优辅差工作不能单方面入手,只有教师、学生双方面的共同配合,教师素质的不断完善,学生学习的积极性和主动性不断增大,才能使教学工作推上一个新的台阶,到达事半功倍的效果。
