A Brief Introduction of Psycholinguistics
Abstract:
Psycholinguistics is a subject of studying linguistics through psychology. Form the point of psychology, it belongs to cognitive psychology; Form the point of linguistics, it belongs to experimental linguistics. The main aim of psycholinguistics is to study how human use and learn language, and how to think and express their thoughts via language. The way of studying psycholinguistics is based on the theory of psychology, cognitive science and linguistics. To study psycholinguistics is not only very important to the development of psychology but also linguistics. Furthermore, to study psycholinguistics is also taking great practical significance. This essay will give a brief introduction of psycholinguistics form the three aspects:the main point of psycholinguistics, the development of psycholinguistics in China and the meaning of studying psycholinguistics.

心理语言学是通过心理学来研究语言学的学科。从心理学的角度,它属于认知心理学;从语言学的角度,它属于实验语言学。其主要目的在于研究人类如何使用和学习语言,并且如何通过语言来表达思想,进行思维。它的研究基础主要是来自心理学、认知科学、语言学的理论和研究方法。研究心理语言学无论是对于心理学还是语言学的研究与发展都具有重要意义,不仅如此,对心理语言学的研究也具有相当大的现实意义。本文将从心理语言学的主要研究内容,其在中国的发展与研究心理语言学的意义三个方面对心理语言学进行一个简单的介绍。
