Austen was regarded as the first author to realistically describe mon characters mon life.
Her works, to some extent, reflect edy
in the middle-class of England and also got rid of the fixed tradition in the 18th century by analyzing the personalities of the characters artfully.
Austen originally called the story First Impressions, but it was never published under that title; instead, she made extensive revisions to the manuscript, then retitled and eventually published it as Pride and Prejudice.
Pride and Prejudice. First published in 1813, as her second novel, Austen started it in 1796 as her first persevering effort for publication. She finished the original manuscript by 1797 in Steventon.

ABOUT THE BOOK
The novel tells the story of Mr. and Mrs. and their five young daughters waiting for marriage in a township middle-class family and prsents several different marriages all together.
The primary one was between Elizabeth and Darcy.
This novel, to some extent, expresses the author’s marriage view:
The couple’s mutual understanding would be the foundation of their relationship and will lead them to a peaceful and lasting marriage. Achieved by their conquer of the initial misunderstandings, the marriage between Elizabeth and Darcy is the ideal one.
Elizabeth’s romance with Mr. Darcy paralles that her older sister Jane with his friends Charles Bingley. This couple have a general similar feelings and taste towards the world, which is another essential part of a happy marriage.
Lydia and Wickham’s is an example of a bad marriage. Their marriage was based on appearances and sexual attraction, once these qualities can no longer be seen b
